Wisdom from the mountain

Supporting Fort Frances in our time of Need.

For so very much of my life I tried to fit myself into the “frame” of others perceptions and needs of me.
I found my value in the “roles” I was asked to play–mother, daughter, wife, student, worker, friend, sister. And I always struggled it do it right–to be of use, to get the gold star, to know that I mattered. Now, I am at last learning to frame my life within the edges of my own soul–to allow myself the potent experience of simply being who I am with courage, openness, a willingness to go the pain of discovery and a powerful gratitude for the brilliant and mighty gift of my own spirit. I am learning and loving this unique and beautiful person that I am–this ever-evolving soul I am choosing myself to be.
